Kristin Jahne
Pantry Manager
Kristin Jahne is the Manager of the NK Food Pantry, where her journey began as a volunteer in 2023. Since then, she has taken on a variety of roles, from part-time assistant to full-time bookkeeper, and now, as the Pantry's manager. With over a decade of experience spanning diverse fields—such as marketing, operational management, farming, graphic design, analytics, construction, accounting, and interior design—Kristin brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Under her leadership, the Pantry has experienced growth across every program and volunteer initiative, all while focusing on budget efficiency.
Kristin is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis on Nonprofit Management from the University of Rhode Island. She holds a B.A. in Marketing and a B.A. in Management from Florida Atlantic University, as well as an A.A. in Business Management from Miami Dade College. Kristin has also completed numerous graduate courses in nonprofit and small business management, as well as the Master Gardener program through URI. She sits on the Board of Trustees for the NK Library and is an active community volunteer. Kristin lives in North Kingstown with her husband and 4 pet bunnies.
Jeremy Colton
Programs & Operations Coordinator
Jeremy Colton is the Programs and Operations Coordinator for the NK Food Pantry. He joined the team in 2026 and oversees the numerous food assistance programs the pantry offers. He also coordinates facilities maintenance and provides operational support to the wonderful & committed volunteer staff.
Jeremy spent 30 years in the Navy and served in a variety of leadership positions onboard Naval Ships and Shore Installations. He possesses a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge in food service management, logistical planning, and maintenance coordination. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration from Roger Williams University and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from National University. Jeremy is originally from Oregon but after 8 duty stations throughout the United States and Europe, he now calls southern Rhode Island home with his wife and two daughters (and pet bunny!)
