Happy February Pantry Supporters!

This is a month of celebrations! February 1st was the start of Chinese New Year, it is the year of the tiger. February 2nd was Groundhog Day and Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow for six more weeks of winter. February 14th is Valentine’s Day, a day of love. At the Pantry we love our faithful supporters and donors. We appreciate your strong support during the holidays. The holidays are generally the time more people come to the Pantry. In December, we had families who came for the Christmas Gift Cards, the weekly Thursday fresh produce giveaways, the monthly senior stockup of food, our regular monthly clients, and the vacation nutrition program which provides snacks and meals for the school students home for the holidays. While some of the families came for more than one program, we had almost 1,000 visits to the Pantry to attain food and necessary goods in December. That is a lot of love we were able to spread in our North Kingstown community. Thank you for supporting the Pantry. We could not serve the community without your faithful love and commitment to our mission: To Feed and help the hungry people of North KIngstown!
