Spring Has Sprung

A Message From Our President

It was a rough March at the Food Pantry. Many of our volunteers are retired and for good reasons, decided it was better to stay home rather than be among the general public. We have food and are taking new clients. If people need food, they need to demonstrate they live in North Kingstown with a utility bill, lease, or other documentation, and then call the Pantry to say they need food. The number at the Pantry is 401-885-3663. Leave a message if no one picks up. We will schedule a time for people to come to the Pantry and families will get a week’s worth of groceries. The amount is based on your family size.

The North Kingstown Food Pantry is an emergency food pantry so we will not turn anyone away.

When people come to the Pantry at their assigned time, they should come to the door & state their name & we will bring the food to the car. The RI Department of Health is recommending that we do not have anyone except our working volunteers come inside the Pantry.

Stay Well,

Kim Page

Yes! Gallery

Well, I do know I can do this! During these terrifying, uncertain times it is so hard to know what to do as a small business owner. As far as Yes! Gallery, at this moment we are open but we may shift very soon to being here with doors closed so that we can continue to show you many of the beautiful things that you could call in & purchase for curbside pick-up or to have shipped to your home. One thing I am certain of, however, is that the North Kingstown Food Pantry is much in need of donations to help refill their shelves. Swing by our porch (17 Brown St.) or next door at Santander Bank (by the ATM machine in the vestibule) to drop off any contributions. More locations to come 😊 Palmer & I are so very grateful for you, our loyal followers for your continued support.

Jacob Silversmith

A special thank you to NK High School sophomore Jacob Silversmith, who recently donated 20 lbs. of hygiene products to the pantry. We have a continuous need and welcome donations any time.
